Hi! As you probably guessed from the URL, my name is Jason Loch. Once upon a time, I was a historian, but I fled the Ivory Tower and now work as a freelance editor.

I’m also an aspiring author. Although I cut my teeth on contemporary fantasy, I now write historical fantasy set in ancient Egypt.

I also write about the real world for the Toonari Post.

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out at coffee shops, playing insanely hard boardgames, slaughtering the demons of Sanctuary, and frolicking in the woods.
